Who'd a thunk, a couple of decades ago, that I would come across a document relevant to my research and then, once it came up on the screen, curse because it was a Royal Malaysian Decree...in Malay. |
So, SIGH, I had to save the doc and then upload it for translation -- all of which happened in less than a minute.
And I don't know what you call the Big Cheese in Malaysia, but I could find that out in mere seconds as well.
Hunh. Sometimes you forget how freaking amazing that all is...lost amongst the LOLcats and Failblogs and Twitterheads and ten thousand pictures of Aunt Mae's garden. You just take it for granted.
Something about a Malaysian Royal Decree sort of reminded me.
No good news for the price of latex, that's the upshot of MY interest, although I had to read it all, out of nosiness.
Apparently the private sector should also peluangsepenuhnya.....
I have no idea what that means, but am glad I won't have to. I think.
Yes- along with the lolcats and such are the blogs where people talk about their pet octopi.
Wow. I had no idea! Just too neat and so much like the conversations between parrot owners, discussing toys, environment, odd behavior, worry about health issues and practically no way to really know what the hell is going on with them... But with octopi. What amazing creatures, and the humans who love them are pretty good, too.
Fascinating links. Thank you very much.
they have Sultans. the Sultans each get to be King for a specified amount of time (9 years?) and then it rotates around.
