|There's hope after all...

Finally slogging through all of the newspapers that have piled up...not that I really give a rat's patoot about current events, but I just hate to miss the finding of a new fossil or other wierd science/biology thing...or to read that as I was driving back from Florida, I probably passed by Randle, the National Zoo's sole remaining giraffe, on HIS way down to the Lowry Zoo which is where I was coming from....|
Or, little bizarre tid-bits that just make my day. So, in Fort Worth, Texas, at a sports bar named "Tumbleweeds", a guy was stabbed during an altercation that arose over when one man accused another of not washing his hands after using the restroom.
Oh, that's mah boys!
NOT that I condone violence. Well, unless I'm handing it out. Although I can say that I've never used violence to make someone wash their hands. Although I will admit to having sent employees back into the rest room if I didn't hear the telltale sound of the soap dispenser and sink. But really a pointed look...and finger were usually enough. I never had to pull my box cutter.
But really, to think that two denizens of a sports bar in Forth Worth, Texas (now Austin, I could believe) cared enough, even noticed, whether someone washed his hands, and then got mad about it....sigh. There's hope for the world after all...
