It shouldn't be so hard to find, but it is and that's dumb. But My Organic Market is carrying D'Artagnan's Porcini Powder and you should get some.|
(Unless you hate mushrooms, in which case, that's like telling me to go get egg powder.)
A pinch to any regular ol' mushroom dish will transport it to new heights. It also automatically adds depth and flavor to sauces and gravy.
Blend some into a good oil and use as a drizzle or for bread dipping.
