|Okay, it's official: Pigpen made 3-D

I know that the current fashion is to have yourself turned into an anime (or as we old-timers call it, CARTOON) character. But you know me, always bucking the trend...|
Last week, thanks to an ignition coil gone bad...lurking under my car's hood, flushed out by a brake job...at the very time we were supposed to be packing for NCRF, of course....I had to rent a car for the two days it took to fix everything.
The car was freshly washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. Two days later, when I returned it, it was not only filthy outside, but there was detritus all over the inside floor, and a fine layer of dust coating the interior.
And I did not transport an animal, eat food, or attend a renaissance faire in those two days. They've always been my excuses for why my car looks like a homeless person lives in it.
But now, no excuses.
I must face up to it: like Pigpen, I have a constant swirl of dust and detritus circling me. It's just not as visible to the human eye as was the cartoon characters. But trust me, it's there.
