I know, it's a complete fantasy and I DO know better -- that despite the Faire being over, there will not be substantially less work to do on it for many weeks. If ever.
I'm looking forward to having time to:
Cut my toenails. Because I could scale a rock wall or defend myself velociraptor style and that's just gross.
Paint said toenails. Because I owe the Shoe Fairy.
Vaccuum. Although I may just collect the fur mounds (oh, yes, we're waaaay beyond balls...which is another great rock band name...Way Beyond Balls) and start a weaving project.
Collect up the dozens of gross, ant-packed Terro ant traps, that are my first line of defense in the Mere vs. Odiferous Ant war going on in the house.
Weed the jungle that used to be my yard.
Clean out my car, which looks like a Renaissance Faire exploded in it.
Evict the mouse that is taking advantage of the Renaissance Faire that exploded in my car. Unless he can juggle.
Pack up my winter clothes and send them downstairs and bring up my summer clothes so that I can stop wearing the same 4 t-shirts over and over again.
Visit with friends without thinking "oooh, I'm going to hate myself later, when I'm up until 2am laminating stage schedules" all night long. Or, self-medicating to make that little voice stop...and then hating myself for more than one reason.
Do a journal post without looking at the clock and saying "oh, expletiveofchoice, I'm late again.
