|This is why I can't get anything done, right here.

I’ve just finished the monumental task of reducing my inbox from 1,989 e-mails to 509. I’m mentally exhausted. And really hated wasting time, but it had to be done; it was making me crazy. 460 more to go and I’ll be a happy person. One of which was the previous post. But I need to move on to other things. After this break. Brought to you by my brain. |
Here’s what it sounds like inside my head today:
Ow, my ear hurts. It hurts, hurts, hurts, hurts, hurts!
(Yes, I know, wait for the Aleve to kick in and you have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow.)
That’s more than 24 hours! It hurts, it aches, ooh, needle pains, and hey, I think the whole side of our HEAD is inflamed and our glands are swollen and we may DIE before then.
(Seriously, mellow out. It’s not --- ow, okay, that was a little stabby – but still, it’s not THAT bad and we’re not going to die. Think about something else.)
Sigh. Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. Hey, let’s go get Cheez-Its!
(You have been a terror since discovering the downstairs vending machine has Cheez-It’s.)
(Awesome. You have it memorized. This is why it’s taken forever for us to finally get below 190. And we’re THERE, and going to keep going, so NO, you cannot have Cheez-It’s.)
(Stop thinking about food. It’s almost lunchtime and I already promised that we could get a burrito.)
Ow, my ear huuuuuurrrtttssss.
